There are two options for accessing the Outlook Vacation Calendar. One can either add the calendar to their personal Outlook on their local machine, or they may access the calendar via the web. Click on the appropriate link below to access Outlook Conference Rooms via the web.
Click on the link on the conference room name to check its availability.
Click back and then click the ”E-Mail” link next to the room name.
Input the pertinent information (your name, time you need the room, etc.) and send the mail to the room.
Once your request has been processed, you should receive an e-mail response.
At this point, you can click on the conference room to check your reservation.
If you are using Outlook and Exchange:
In Calendar, from the Actions menu, select Plan A Meeting.
Click the Add Others button.
Select “Add from Address Book” from the drop-down menu.
In the Type name or Select from List box, enter the name of the resource that you want to invite to the meeting, or select the name of the resource from the list. If you type LSA-Phys-Conference-Room in the Type Name or Select From List box, you should see all the conference rooms.
Click the Resources button to assign the resource the corresponding category.
Click the OK button.
Select the time window when you would like to schedule the resource.
Click the Make Meeting button.
Enter a subject or description in the Subject field.
Enter the name of the conference room you want to reserve in the Location field.
Optional: If you wish to make the meeting a recurring event, click the Recurrence button, Select the appropriate options and click OK.
Optional: Enter the details of your meeting in the text area of the request, and Click the Send button.
