Because of the recent release of Microsoft Windows Service Pack 2, it has come to our attention that Microsoft's download sites have become, at times, painfully slow.

In order to make access to this Service Pack easier for Physics users, we have put it on our local web server, hopefully sparing you the "busy signal" you would have gotten by going to Microsoft or one of its mirror sites directly.

Finally, you should know that there have been some cases reported where installing this Service Pack has "blue screened" the machine, although this is very rare. This is more likely to happen if your machine's BIOS version is very old.
